Neither tool deletes anything on its own. Every scan ends with a recommendation — which copy looks like the original, which one is sharper, which file is safe to let go of — and you choose what actually happens. Removed files go to the Recycle Bin by default, never straight to permanent deletion.
Both apps are free to try on real folders — up to 20 files per scan, with no limit on how many scans you run. A one-time license removes that cap.
